Terms & Conditions*

1. Fees & Payment

  • Booking Fee (Non-Refundable): $50 is required at the time of signing to secure your date.
  • Remaining Balance: Must be paid on or before the event day.
  • Payment Methods: Cash or e-Transfer accepted.
  • Tax: As a registered business, e-Transfer payments are subject to 13% HST.


2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Clients may reschedule with a minimum of 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all payments made.


3. Image Delivery

  • Edited images will be delivered within 20 days after the client’s selection.
  • Images are delivered via an online gallery.
  • The online gallery is active for 30 days. Clients are responsible for downloading all images within this period. After 30 days, the gallery and data may no longer be available.


4. Editing & Data Policy

4.1. Raw Footage Policy

  • All raw footage and unedited images/videos are captured strictly for editing purposes.
  • Raw files are not provided or shared with clients under any circumstances.

4.2. Project Communication Timeline

  • Clients are required to maintain communication regarding selection, feedback, and editing within 3 months (90 days) from the event date.

If there is no communication from the client within 3 months after the event, we reserve the right to:

  • Delete all project files, including photos, videos, and related data Close the project permanently
  • Consider the project completed from our side

After this period:

  • We are not responsible for any lost data
  • No editing work will be completed
  • The project cannot be reopened


5. Copyright & Usage

  • The photographer retains full copyright of all images.
  • Clients are granted personal use rights only.
  • The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


6. Newborn & Maternity Session Policy

  • Studio Information:
  • All sessions are conducted in a home-based studio.
  • Maternity Session:
  • Only the couple is allowed in the studio.
  • Grandparents are not permitted.
  • Add-ons: Extra gown available for $50.
  • Newborn Session:
  • Includes parents and first child only.
  • Grandparents can be included for an additional $50.


Additional Editing Options (for any session):

  • $5 per extra edited image (studio background & normal skin correction).
  • $10 per AI-based editing.


7. Event Travel Policy

  • No travel fees for events held in: Toronto, Markham, Scarborough, Brampton, Mississauga, Hamilton, Kitchener, Waterloo, Ancaster, Niagara, and Burlington.
  • For locations outside these areas, please confirm travel fees with ShinePhotoshop prior to booking.
